2. Composition / Information on ingredients

  Special acrylic resins in water dispersion, organic and inorganic pigments. Additives that makes application easy.

This product is classified as non dangerous; Used under normal conditions as specified in the technical data sheet,

the product has no dangerous effects on human health; its formulation does not contain any classified substances  hazardous for health  and environment.

 

 

4. First aid measures

 

No episodes of damage to health ascribed to the product have been reported after inhalation, skin contact or  after accidental ingestion . Nevertheless, observance of good industrial hygiene is recommended. In case of specific pain or trouble, seek for medical advice.

 

 

5. Fire-fighting measures

 

Allow containers to cool in order to avoid product decomposition and generation of substances which might injure the health and be dangerous for safety reasons when product caught in a fire. Wear in this case the fire equipment  appropriate, all the time.

 

 

 

 

 

6. Accidental release measures

Keep away the product from waterways, discharges, sewerage and soils. Remove with suitable measures or limitation measures .

Limit leakages with earth or inert material. Remove most of the product and then rinse the involved area with jets of water. No dangerous substances are released.

 

 

7. Handling and storage

 

Make sure that equipment is available for cooling the vessels, to prevent  the danger of overpressure and overheating in the event of fire in the vicinity. Refer to the other sections of this data sheet for information relating to health and environmental risks.

 

8. Exposure control / personal protection.

 Follow the good industrial hygiene practices adopting suitable individual protective measures, such as gloves and overall. Do not eat or smoke while  handling the product. Wash hands before eating and at the end of the work shift. Periodic health controls are recommended at the discretion of the doctor.

10. Stability and reactivity

 

The product is stable in normal conditions of use and storage. In the event of thermal decomposition or fire, vapours potentially dangerous to health may be released.

 

 

 

11. Toxicological information

 

According to currently available data, this product has not yet produced health damages. Anyway, it must be handled according to good industrial practices.

EDTA disodium salt: due to its slightly acid properties it is irritating to  the eyes and skin; inhalation of vapours is highly unlikely since it is  poorly volatile. Oral LD50 value in the rat (2000 mg/l) coincides with the upper limit of toxicity.

 

 

 

 

 

 

12. Ecological information

 

The paraffinic hydrocarbons present may be considered biodegradable in water and in air. They distribute mostly in the air. The small amount that is distributed in water and is not biodegradable tends to be accumulated by fish.Use this product according to good working practices. Avoid litter. Inform the competent authorities, should the product reach waterways or sewers or contaminate soil or vegetation.

 

 

 

13. Disposal consideration

 

If the product is a solid it can be disposed off in a landfill o dump, whose typology must be identified according to the prescribed criteria.
